Memorial Day Fun

I hope you all had a good Memorial day. We packed up and went to my parents for the long weekend. Its amazing how nice it is to visit but not live there. We really had a ton of fun.

We boiled crawfish on Saturday. They were kinda small but they were tasty.

I had to put the kids in their blue & red Memorial day outfits.

I'm glad I got the pictures when I did because Paisley wasn't clothed for too much longer after that! I don't know why but she loves to run around naked on the farm. I mean doesn't everybody ride their tractors naked?

This next pic pretty much sums Paisley up. She seriously loves the farm & thinks she can just do what she wants. She's also fiercely independent and makes her own path. I'm sure that will wild spirit will come in handy as an adult but for now it either cracks me up or drives me crazy. (don't mind the dirty bottom she has)

She put on clothes & a camo hat later to ride her tractor. Crazy girl

There was also swimming in the pool & a boat ride on the lake but I didn't take pictures of that. I simply enjoyed those moments with the people I love most.

I hope you got to spend the weekend with loved ones.
Take care,

Hunter- 4 months

4 months! I love this age. They are so much more alert and responsive. I remember this being my favorite age when P was little. No exception with Hunter. I seriously am AMAZED each day at how easy & good this baby is. Just can't get over it.

Here are the monthly pics.

Here a little look at how he has grown in the last 4 months

His smile is the highlight of my day and he smiles ALOT. It's hard to be in a bad mood when you got this cute face looking at you all day long. He truly is my JOY.

He's obsessed with chewing on his fingers now. I think he's actually teething. I bought him an amber necklace this week because my sister-in-law swears by them. We'll see how it works.

I couldn't love this boy anymore. They ain't lying when they (whoever they is) coined the phrase "mama's boy". This boy is mine. All mine.

We are headed to the farm this afternoon for a long weekend. Crawfish, swimming in the pool & boating are on the agenda.

I hope everyone has a nice Memorial day weekend!

The many faces of Hunter James

Hello blog followers! (all 3 of ya) How are ya? Sorry I've been a little absent. We went to Atlanta and back. I helped throw a baby shower for my best friend and we visited Todd's family. A few days home and Paisley got bronchitis and then had an adverse affect to a medicine that literally made her crazy for 3 days. So glad last week is over. Moving on....

This boy is starting to make all kind of crazy faces. I bet you wanna see right???

The 'oh no she has her camera out again' face

The half smile

The full smile

The smirk

The adorable 'aren't i cute' smile

The excited smile

The 'are we seriously still doing this?' smile

And the famous 'happiness' smile in which he got his nickname

We'll be back Saturday with his 4 month old pics. Can you believe this guy is already 4 months old? My favorite baby age with lots of pics to follow.

Stay tuned...
